Fiio KA17 is Fiio's first usb powered dongle dac using a THX headphone amp. The unique quality of THX amps is their combination of high power output with very low distortion. KA17 has one of the highest outputs of a dongle dac. 

The KA17 adds an innovative 'Desktop mode', providing up to double the power output, perfect for most open back and planar headphones. Connect the KA17 via usb, add a second usb cable from the secondary power input to a PD charger - and voila! Desktop mode - this mode allows the KA17 to output desktop amp levels of power!
