Sennheiser HD 599 Open back over ear headphone. Full size HD 599 is very comfy, light and easy to wear for extended periods. HD 599 includes a 3m cable and a thinner 1.2m cable with 3.5mm plug.

Sennheiser HD599 are fairly easy to power so pair them with any decent dac, headphone amp or good portable player. A great match with stereo receivers. HD 599 do have notably spacious sound compared with other headphones in this price range.

A great buy for longer listening sessions and for an accurate, slightly warmer, easy to listen to experience. No sibilance but still very good clarity. Not for people after big deep bass.

Thanks to the large ear cups with soft replaceable ear pads there is no pressure on your ears. Great in the summer, since open headphones do not feel as warm and the velour pads breathe better than many vinyl pads.
