Shure SE215 review, from Headphone Bar: NEW cool looking white finish on the housing with dark grey cable. This is a Special Edition that includes a new detachable, replaceable Kevlar treated cable, with an inline mic, controls and apple volume control.
We've sold hundreds of Shure SE215's the past few years. The se215 is designed so the cable fits up and around your ear, for a very stable fit with the earphones sitting flush within your ear. These are perfect for travel and on the plane, since their noise isolation is amongst the best available, as good as or better than the best noise cancelling headphones. With the small size and flush fit, you can wear them when laying down on a flight, for sports or running (just don't get them too wet).
The cable running over the ear also reduces cable noise to a minimum. These have some of the best sound quality available around $150, with a sound that is more balanced than most, with a slight boost to the bass (most in this price range have a heavier, less defined bass). You do not need to turn them up very loud, due to the full sound and great isolation.
Carry case, 3 pair of foam and 3 pair of silicone tips included. These are white finish with black cable (since the clear cable is a bit stiffer and turns green over time)
Comfortable sound isolating sleeves block up to 37 dB of ambient noise.
New Product — SE215m+SPE features a tuned acoustic network for a unique sound signature that delivers detailed sound with extended bass.
