From Headphone Bar: Sept 2013 - Cool new stuff! We started talking with Torque in the summer, were lucky enough to try some prototypes and love the product and the company. Based in California, Torque has produced an great earphone. It looks and feels very well made, comes with complete accessories, fits naturally and sounds very good for this under $250 price range. 3 button i-device inline remote included.
Torque t103z come with three valves - metal screw on filters that each tune the sound in a different way. They include a reference valve for great overall sound, a clear valve, if you prefer additional treble detail and a deep valve, for slamming bass. The valves 'torque' onto the earphones tightly and the eartips fit very solid. Having the ability to customize the sound is fun and lets you adjust the sound the way you prefer it.
The product can also be improved/customized further if Torque brings out other valves in the future - its a nice bonus having the option to upgrade the sound of your earphones just by using new valves. (we've tried some other valves that Torque is developing and we really like this option).
